Still life on Kožino Beach
Kožino is one of the settlements of the Zadar Riviera, it's situated west of Zadar and shares limits with Petrčane and Diklo. The old village is settled on top of the small hillside. The coastal area known as Primorje originally consisted of a dozen or so houses - at the end of the 20th c. with the emerging of tourism and holiday makers the area along the coast was built up, the apartment settlement now stretches about 1 km long.

On Primorje the coast in its original form is mainly stony, but there are gravel sections, short and long, too. Here and there concrete or stone covered terraces have been erected. The most popular of the gravel beaches is on the northern end of the resort, in Fažana Bay.

There are a small grocery (Sonik) and a restaurant (Grill and Pizzeria Riva) in the apartment settlement, as well as two kiosks selling fresh bakery products. Bulkier shopping needs are served in the nearby Zadar.
